Doux Tees Return and Refund Policy

At Doux Tees, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Our return and refund policy complies with UK consumer law and ensures a straightforward process.

When We Offer Full Refunds

You are entitled to a full refund if the item:

  • Is faulty
  • Is not as described
  • Does not perform as expected

This applies to all purchases, whether full price or sale items.

When Refunds Are Not Required

We do not offer refunds if:

  • You were aware of a fault at the time of purchase
  • The item was damaged through an attempt to repair it yourself or by another party (although you may still be eligible for a repair, replacement, or partial refund)
  • You simply no longer want the item (e.g., wrong size or color), unless the purchase was made without seeing the item (e.g., online)

Non-Returnable Items (Unless Faulty)

Certain items can only be returned if faulty, including:

  • Personalised or custom-made items

Distance Selling (Online, Mail, and Phone Orders)

For online, mail, and phone orders, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, even if the goods are not faulty. After notifying us, you have an additional 14 days to return the items.

  • You will receive a full refund within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. You do not need to provide a reason for canceling.

Repairs and Replacements

If you accept an item but later discover it is faulty, you can request a repair or replacement. If the repair or replacement does not resolve the issue, you may still reject the item for a refund.

  • We must repair or replace items returned within 6 months, unless we can prove they were not faulty at the time of purchase.
  • If the fault is discovered after 6 months, you may need to provide proof that the issue existed when the item was purchased.

Long-Term Claims

Customers can make claims for faulty goods up to 6 years from the date of purchase (5 years in Scotland), although claims after 6 months require proof the fault existed at the time of sale.

Warranties and Guarantees

Your right to repairs or a replacement applies whether or not you have a warranty or guarantee. These rights are independent of any warranty provided.

Proof of Purchase

We require proof of purchase for all returns, which can include a sales receipt or bank statement.

Items Returned by a Third Party

We can only accept returns from the original buyer of the item.
