Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Douxtopia, we design our pieces to be worn, loved, and styled with confidence. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

This policy complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your statutory rights are not affected.

1. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty or defective, arrives damaged, is not as described, or is not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a remedy under UK law.

Within 30 Days of Delivery:

You may reject the item for a full refund.

After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months):

We will offer a repair or replacement first. If unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a refund.

After 6 Months:

You may still have rights (up to 6 years in England, Wales & Northern Ireland / 5 years in Scotland), but you may need to show the fault was present at the time of delivery.

If an item is confirmed faulty, we will refund: The full purchase price, any standard delivery charge paid, and reasonable return postage costs.

2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For online purchases, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, even if it is not faulty.

You must notify us within 14 days of delivery. You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

To qualify:

Items must be unworn and unwashed
Items must be in original condition
All tags must remain attached
Items must be free from makeup, fake tan, fragrance, deodorant marks, or damage
Items must be returned in original packaging where possible

We reserve the right to reduce or refuse a refund if the item shows signs of wear beyond what is necessary to inspect it. A reason for return is required.

3. Change of Mind Returns

If you simply change your mind (size, colour, style preference):

Return within 14-day cooling-off period
Provide reason for return
You pay return shipping costs

As we offer free standard shipping on UK orders, there is no outbound shipping charge to refund.

4. Exchanges (Size or Style)

We understand that fit is everything. We offer exchanges for:

Size changes
Colour swaps
Alternative available styles

Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn. Exchanges subject to stock availability.
